Pricing questions
Why do you show price ranges instead of exact prices?
Two jobs with the same name can be very different. A water heater in an open basement takes less time than one in an attic closet, and a sewer line under a lawn costs less to reach than one under a driveway. Ranges give you a fair picture, and the firm price comes after we see the job.
Do these plumbing prices include permits?
Where a job needs a permit, such as a water heater replacement or sewer line replacement, the range assumes a standard permit. Unusual inspections or city requirements are explained before you approve the price.
Is there a charge just to come out?
There can be a diagnostic or trip fee, especially after hours. We tell you on the phone before anyone drives out, so there are no surprises.
